History of Sabanet

Nadagostar Saba Data Transfer Company, operating under the trade name Sabanet, started its activities in 2003 as one of the largest companies in the Data Development Group. In the initial phase, the company obtained the PAP license (End Access Points) from the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, enabling the establishment of a platform for providing nationwide broadband services. Additionally, in order to enhance the quality of communication and information services in the country, Sabanet became the first operator in Iran to utilize ADSL technology for high-speed communication between Tehran and other cities, achieving nationwide coverage in a short period of time. As a result, Sabanet is recognized as one of the most experienced and pioneering fixed operators in the country, playing a significant role in achieving the objectives of the fifth and sixth development programs, ensuring maximum access to the national information network and the internet for households and businesses nationwide

Sabanet believes that by developing and expanding the necessary infrastructure, it has provided the groundwork for the country's entry into the information society and facilitated access to high-speed internet, which is one of the fundamental prerequisites for the development of IT usage in the country. Nowadays, the activities of all active sectors of the information society, including service providers such as hardware developers, software developers, telecommunications, computer services, electronics, as well as service recipients such as the government, insurance services, major industries such as oil, gas, petrochemicals, and the field of electronic education and e-commerce, are dependent on it.

In line with its comprehensive development activities, Sabanet successfully obtained the FCP license (Fixed Communications Network Operation) from the Radio Regulatory and Communications Organization in 2015. Any communication and data transfer services on the network covered by the license are independent of technology and include services such as internet access, access to the national information network, distribution and sale of internet bandwidth, private networks, provision of voice, video, and text services, various content services, and value-added services.
